Dan Dal Degan is a growth-focused executive, board member, and investor with a track record of scaling high-growth SaaS and enterprise software companies. Over his career, he has led revenue expansion, strategic exits, and market leadership for some of the most recognized names in cloud technology.
As CEO of SpringCM, Dan led the company’s growth to $30M in revenue, 675 customers, and 190 employees, culminating in its $270M acquisition by DocuSign in 2018. Prior to SpringCM, he spent 11 years at Salesforce, helping grow the company from under 150 employees to over 12,000, leading major sales teams across the central U.S. and nationwide.
Dan currently serves on the boards of multiple high-growth SaaS companies, including Zilliant, Great Gray, SalesHood, RevenueWell, Challenger, and Exegy, where he advises leadership teams on go-to-market strategy, revenue growth, and operational excellence.
Previously, he was an Operating Executive at Marlin Equity Partners and has held executive roles at Ensighten, Synchrony, Siebel Systems, Sybase, and Oracle during their IPO and expansion phases.
Beyond his corporate leadership, Dan is an active mentor and advisor, guest lecturing at Northwestern and DePaul and supporting entrepreneurial initiatives at 1871 Chicago. He also serves on the boards of Cara Program and Hope For The Day, organizations focused on poverty alleviation and mental health education.
