Jerrod Helms is a seasoned revenue leader with over 20 years of experience building and scaling high-performing sales teams in Digital Health, Benefits, and Health Tech. He has successfully led teams across organizations ranging from high-growth startups to $35B enterprises, consistently exceeding revenue targets and mastering the intricacies of selling into payers, providers, and self-insured employers.

 

Jerrod is currently SVP of Sales at Lantern, where he leads go-to-market strategy and revenue growth. Previously, as Chief Commercial Officer at Dario, he spearheaded the company’s transformation from B2C to B2B, expanding into employer and health plan markets. Before that, he led sales at Ginger, Humana, Airrosti, and RedBrick Health, consistently delivering top-tier sales performance.

 

Jerrod is a recognized expert in navigating complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles in the digital health space. He has successfully sold into health plans, benefits consultants, and enterprise buyers, aligning diverse stakeholders—from HR and procurement to clinical leadership and CFOs—to accelerate deal velocity. His deep understanding of reimbursement dynamics, risk-based contracting, and the economics of healthcare purchasing allows him to position digital health solutions as must-have investments rather than discretionary spend.

 

Beyond his leadership roles, Jerrod advises multiple digital health companies, including Canvas Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm, and XLerateHealth, an incubator focused on transforming healthcare and life science innovation.
